Berryz 4th cd review
As I have had block on what to write lately I decided to review Berryz new cd seeing today is the release date and I have just went out and got me a regular edition copy (which is expensive at Tower Records) seeing as I am waiting for my limited edition to come in the mail…
01. Ai no Suki Suki Shisuu Joushou Chuu 10/10
A very upbeat song with some strong vocal parts and a great hook with the chorus. All in all one of my favorite non-singles on this cd. A wonderful song if you want to get up and dance. I can easily see this song being performed at future concerts! 
02. Munasawagi Scarlet 9/10
A song more on the rock-ish side of things. It is very song is its melody although momoko’s vocals in this song are lacking a bit…Don’t get me wrong it’s a great song and one of my favorite singles, I just am a little disappointed there, although everyone else sounds great.
03. Omoitattara Yoshi Desse! (Chinami, Maasa, Yurina) 8/10
Finally, I have been waiting for this…A song with leads form someone other than Momoko, Risako, or Miyabi! Yurina has to be my favorite member and I really happy to see her get a trio with a couple more people that never really get solo lines. I like this song for the fact it is very cutesy. It is also very fitting for everyone of these three’s voices. Although it is too typical and doesn’t really stand out to me…:(
04. Very Beauty 10/10
A very mellow, feel-good song that I adore. Anytime I seem to be feeling bad I seem to turn to this single. It is really nice to hear a great ballad type song from them all. The really turning point of this song has to be the high notes that were hit very well, in my opinion, at the start of the chorus. 
05. Waracchaou yo BOYFRIEND 10+/10
Another great song very reminiscent of the 50’s girl bands, which seems to fit this album very well. This has to be my favorite song on this album. It is very catchy and has a lot of spunk. I think that is was also very well produced as well. Every aspect from the melody to the music is almost flawless…Wonderful.
06. Watashi ga Suru Koto Nai Hodo Zenbu Shite Kureru Kare (Momoko, Risako) 7.5/10
A great ballad from these two. I’m really impressed at how well their voices fit together. It was a great song, besides from being a bit bland. Come on, spice it up a lit and it will be great!
07. Sayonara Hageshiki Koi 6/10
I really think that this song is a bit on the over done side. It feels almost like Tsunku was trying to fill space with this track. It feels a bit rushed all together, maybe if it was slower it would be better. 
Also, I don’t like the cha-cha-cha thing and the music seems a bit 80’s ish and it doesn’t seem to fit with the rest of the cd much at all.
08. Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba 10/10
This is a song that simplicity to an art. It was wonderful melodically and musically. I really like how everything in this song is so minimal but speak volumes. I think that right there shows a strong future for this group! 
09. Sprinter! (Saki, Miyabi) 8/10
I’m not really a fan of either girl, but this was a great song. It was very well harmonized and although I’m not really enjoying the music all that much, the lyrics are amazing! Thumbs up on that. It is a very upbeat song and it would be great to listen if your in a bad mood.
10. Sakura wa Rakusa 9/10
I like the techno-esque sound of the track and the fast-forward thing is a new one for me. I’ve never really heard anything quite like it on a H!P produced cd before. This is one of those songs that show you just how flexible the girls of Berryz really are.
11. Sakura –> Nyuugakushiki 10/10
I love the music entrance in this song, very peaceful and relaxing. I also like how this song is very quite and slowly progresses as the chorus approaches. It is all in all a great song as is slowly becoming my second favorite Berryz song (the first being 21ji Made no Cinderella:D).
Overall 10/10
Wow! This has be be the best cd from them yet. This is the most down-to-earth Berryz cd to date and I love almost every minute of it. It is a great cd with some amazing vocals. I love how this cd features girls other than the Big 3(see other post about cd). I love this cd and I really think that there should be more cds like this in the future!
