I would just like to take a moment to show my support for my favorite Momusu, Takahashi Ai. I know that there has been a lot of things that have been said against her recently and that makes me sad to read all of those comments. All I have to say is how can you hate someone for decisions they don’t even make(such as screen time). Lets just celebrate the greatness that is Takahashi Ai, A 21-year old girl who loves her job with all her heart.

Amen to that. Yes, she tends to love the camera, but why shouldn’t she? As Momusu’s leader, that’s part of the job. Voclaly, she lends badly needed stability to Morning Musume’s lineup, which lacks for serious solo voices with Miki and Yossi out. Aichan sets a high performance standard and I just like here. Wish she lived next door, actually.

I just agree so much… I also had to defend her a little in my blog, as she’s a target of such a big attack. But fortunately not everyone is against her, there has been a lot of supporters too.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Ai Takahashi doesn’t deserve all of this backlash. A wise man said, “don’t hate, appreciate.”

I don’t get why people say things like ‘She wont be a good leader’ and ‘She should quit so Risa can be leader’ etc. Personally I think she will be a awesome leader and yeah I admit Ai is not my favourite out of the line up but theres no denying that she has the strongest voice and is the best dancer out of the lot. When I read comments like that I feel a bit upset as she has been put in the firing line for no good reason. I could understand if she was the worst singer or had a totally bitchy personality but she doesnt seem like that at all. I hope Ai-chan will be Musume’s leader for a long time to come!
